(EL-C1126) COLT 3RD MODEL DRAGOON
Caliber 44 Percussion Revolver. U.S. marking on the side. Overall gun is basically a plum brown patina coloration with exc traces of case color still visible on the frame as well as blue in the protected areas on the bbl. The back strap and triggerguard have turned a nice mustard patina yellow coloration, all matching numbers including wedge, loading gate and cylinder. Orig walnut grips are in exc cond with very nice cartouche on both sides and showing a minimum amount of wear. Gun has been used very little but for some reason the orig cylinder has a considerable amount of scene in an area where it's not beat on; about 3/4 of it has one nick after another in it. I can't imagine what happened to it-somebody just beat the hell out of it. Nice, clean, all orig gun with nice markings and sharp corners. Honest old gun.

This gun is cute! Hard to find these in any condition, much less as wonderful condition as this one is in. e
