Photo View: (8334-14-5) ANOTHER MAGNIFICENT HENRY RIFLE FROM MERZ ANTIQUE GUNS

Early 4,XXX serial range, all numbers match on this round heeled variation of the Henry. Very nicely aged brown gray patina on the bbl. There are a couple of marks on the bbl but the metal is generally in nice smooth cond and the octagons are very nice; the patina on the receiver has that very pretty mustardy aged look to it. Nice fitting wood is in VG cond, a little bit of shrinkage at the lower tang and at the toe. Gun is equipped with sling swivels and has a very well defined 'Henry Bump'. Orig sights but rear one is missing the slider. Fine Henry that anybody would be proud to own! Nice gun!
