Overall gun is in beautiful condition with a very deep, aged, untouched butterscotch patina coloration to the brass. Orig wood shows very little use; there's just a minor crack in the front forearm wood that has been repaired and is hardly noticable. Good traces of blue, the balance turning a plum patina coloration, fine markings, sharp corners, action is crisp and tight. The 4th Model is a fairly scarce gun having been made out of steel parts on the forend cap and buttplate-rarely, if ever encountered. Guaranteed untouched and excellent+ throughout.
